The 2024 World Industrial Design Conference (WIDC2024) was successfully held on September 20-22 in the Yantai Bajiaowan International Convention & Exhibition Center. With the theme of "Design · New Quality Productive Forces“, WIDC2024 has assembled over one thousand representatives from 16 countries and regions in Yantai to discuss new models of industrial design empowering industrial development and jointly promote new measures to accelerate new industrialization.

The opening ceremony, keynote speeches, forums, seminars, press conferences and other contents were held online and offline. WIDC2024 also planned a display space with a total area of 6000 square meters, setting up four major exhibition areas to showcase more than 500 excellent design achievements from countries and regions with different cultural, technological, and industrial backgrounds, presenting a visual and intellectual feast for the global audience.
